About AltOrbit

A small team building a calmer way to run a team.

We're four people in Kyiv and Berlin who got tired of stitching seven tools together to do one job. So we built one tool. This is what we believe.

01

Software for teams should feel like nothing.

The best tools disappear. Slack pings, Jira tickets, calendar invites — they all add weight to your day. AltOrbit's job is to remove weight, not stack it.

02

Calm beats clever.

We'd rather ship a boring solution that works on Monday morning than a clever one that needs a tutorial. No streaks, no notification dopamine, no AI asking how it did.

03

Your data is yours.

Export it any time, in CSV and JSON. Cancel and we delete it on a schedule we publish openly. No model has ever trained on your workspace, and none ever will.

04

Pricing should fit on a postcard.

Three plans. Per active member. Annual discount that's actually a discount. No "talk to sales" gates on basic features like SSO. If you can't tell what something costs in 30 seconds, it's a bad pricing page.

05

Made in Europe, on purpose.

EU-resident data, EU-resident company, GDPR-native. Tallinn for the entity, servers in Frankfurt and Virginia. We answer DPAs in days, not weeks.

The four of us.

We work async, ship every Friday, and meet for one week each quarter.

Ex-Monobank. Believes most software has too many features and not enough taste.

Co-founder · Engineering
15 years of backend. Spends his weekends optimising Postgres queries that nobody asked him to optimise.

How we got here.

Sept 2024

An angry Sunday

Daria spends a Sunday cross-referencing Slack, Notion, Toggl, and Excel to figure out who actually worked on what last sprint. Decides this should not be a thing in 2024.

Jan 2025

First commit

Maksym joins. First commit pushed at 2:47 AM Kyiv time. Pretty much sets the tone for the next 18 months.

Aug 2025

Closed alpha

12 friend-of-a-friend teams. We learn that nobody wants another chat app, but everybody wants a single place for blocks + projects + people.

Feb 2026

Public beta

EARLY50 promo launches. 100 spots fill in 11 days. We hire Lena and Yaroslav.

May 2026

You are here

Time blocks tagged to projects, leave management, SSO, two regions. The boring backbone is done — now we make it delightful.
